DESCRIPTION:The visit consists of an initial tour of the Consum headquarter
 s (lasting approximately 1.5 hours) during which Javier Quiles\, Director 
 of External Relations\, will explain Consum and the cooperative model\, an
 d the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute t
 heir ideas. Once the presentation is over\, there will be a light lunch an
 d coffee\, followed by a visit to the logistics platform\, which is locate
 d next to the headquarters.\n\nConsum is Spain's largest cooperative. It h
 as more than 1\,000 supermarkets\, including its own stores and Charter fr
 anchisees\, distributed throughout Catalonia\, the Valencian Community\, t
 he Region of Murcia\, Castile-La Mancha\, Andalusia\, and Aragon. In 2024\
 , it had a turnover of €4.7073 billion\, up 7.3%. It made a profit of 
 €108.7 million\, up 7.5%. With more than 5 million member-customers and 
 22\,000 employees\, Consum is the only distribution company with the Famil
 y-Responsible Company (EFR) certificate. The cooperative's carbon footprin
 t has been reduced by 81.1% since 2015. It is also the first company in th
 e food distribution sector to obtain the “Reduzco” seal from the Minis
 try for Ecological Transition.
